Some collabs just make sense, and then there’s this one. Since April 9th, Monacqua, the mineral water brand born in Monaco that became a cult object on the Rock in record time, has teamed up with Norman Foster. No less.

After George Condo in 2025, it’s now one of the most influential architects of our time putting his mark on the bottle. And not just any way: the limited edition features an original sketch of the Yacht Club de Monaco, drawn by Foster’s own hand. A raw, almost intimate thought that you literally hold in your hands while sipping your water on the Metropole terrace or from a glass carafe on your desk. We especially loved the little anecdote from Geeta Kalwani’s interview, founder of Monacqua: it was Norman Foster himself who asked to remove the word “Lord” from the communication materials. Class, the discreet kind.

And because the brand is keen to stay accessible, this edition doesn’t cost any more than the previous ones, a real statement in a world where artistic collabs send prices soaring.

On the values side, you’ll find everything that makes Monacqua strong: water sourced in Europe, free of nitrates and arsenic, packaged in glass or 75% biodegradable cardboard, and a strong commitment to the Princess Grace Foundation, which receives a portion of the revenue from every bottle sold.

Where to find it? The bottle is hidden all over the Principality, treasure-hunt style: at Carrefour, at the Chocolaterie de Monaco, at L’Epi d’Or, at the Oceanographic Museum, in local pharmacies (Centrale, San Carlo, de l’Estoril…), at Goyard, at Metropole Shopping, at the Yacht Club de Monaco of course, or even at Starbucks. In short, you’ll stumble upon it while running errands, or it’ll find you.

One bottle, one sketch, one more Monegasque story. We’re 100% on board.

Agathe’s little tip: if you don’t want to miss the next collab (because there will be others, we promise), head to Instagram: @monacqua_. That’s where it all happens first.
