You know that feeling when you slip on a jacket and suddenly stand a little taller? The fit is right, the fabric feels lovely, and you feel good in it. That’s the kind of elegance I wanted to share with you through CRISONI, a Monaco fashion house that gives as much thought to the person wearing the clothes as to the clothes themselves.
Behind CRISONI is Andreas Allenbach. Originally from Zurich, he made Monaco his home after a long career in fashion and textiles. When it came to naming his own label, he turned to his three children: Cristina, Sophia and Nico. A little story to share next time someone asks where you found your jacket.
On Rue Princesse Caroline, the men’s and women’s boutiques sit opposite one another at numbers 10 and 11. Blazers, fitted blouses, trousers and cocktail dresses make up a ready-to-wear collection built around timeless cuts. The palette has a Mediterranean feel: white, beige, sage green and blues through to navy. Linen, cotton, silk, wool and cashmere complete the picture.
At the Park Palace showroom and atelier, made-to-measure opens up more possibilities. A carefully adjusted fit, embroidered initials, a contrasting cuff… I have a soft spot for those details you might only notice up close, but that make a piece feel yours. From a tailored suit or coat to a wedding dress or groom’s suit, CRISONI also dresses life’s bigger occasions.
And the house is already woven into Monaco life. From uniforms for SBM teams to the outfits worn by Monaco’s official delegations at the Tokyo and Paris Olympics, you may well have seen its creations without knowing it.
Agathe’s little tip: tell them about your everyday life and what you love wearing. It’s the best starting point for an outfit you’ll feel completely yourself in.
