Plus que deux jours et commence à Paris les défilés de Haute Couture ! Mais saviez vous que, comme New-York, Londres, Milan et Paris, la Principauté a aussi sa Fashion week ? Cette année c’était la 5ème Edition et nous y étions ! 

Quand je dis nous, c’est Virginie Broquet et moi ! Virginie pour les illustrations et moi pour les photos… Je voulais à travers nous vous offrir un petit aperçu de ce rendez-vous de la mode ! 
Elle s’est déroulée entre le Musée Océanographique et le Chapiteau de Fontvieille du 1er au 3 juin : trois jours de présentations, conférences, événements, défilés… fréquentés par des célébrités, entourés de spécialistes de la mode et accompagnés de la presse internationale et de blogueurs. Tout ça dans une ambiance chaleureuse et élégante à l’image de la Principauté ! Bien entendu J’ADORE ! 
C’est Chiara Boni qui a ouvert les défilés ! L’excellence italienne ! Avec sa collection -La Petite Robe- : un bijou pour les amoureuses de l’élégance. Elle a d’ailleurs reçu le Made-Italy fashion Award pour sa grande contribution au monde la mode.

La grande surprise fut la présence, lors de la soirée de Gala au Musée océanographique, de l’icône internationale de la mode, Naomi Campbell à qui a été attribué l’International Fashion Award.
Tatiana Santo Domingo Casiraghi et Dana Alikhani étaient à l’honneur également. Elles ont reçu le MCFW Ethical Brand Fashion Award pour avoir crée la marque Muzungu Sisters : tenues et accessoires raffinés produits par des artisans de 16 pays différents sur 4 continents. Les broderies, les détails précieux, les couleurs naturelles et les tricots tissés suivant des traditions locales représentent un vrai patrimoine culturel, que la marque souhaite préserver et améliorer, tout en offrant aux populations autochtones un mode de vie durable.

La talentueuse photographe italienne, Nima Benati, a reçu le « Emerging Talent fashion Award. En effet, née en 1992, Nima oeuvre dans la mode depuis 2010. Elle a découvert comment capturer tout ce monde et en faire le sien. D’ailleurs Dolce Gabbana l’a choisi pour leur dernière campagne publicitaire et ça promet d’être le début d’une fabuleuse carrière de photographe de mode !

Nous avons pu découvrir notamment les collections de nombreuses marques monégasques : Banana Moon, Beach & Cashmere Monaco, Leslie Monte-Carlo, Livia Monte-Carlo, Stardust Monte-Carlo, Carlo Ramello, et marques françaises : Josephine Bonair, De Tiara, Herblain. De jeunes marques ont représenté la créativité de l’est de l’Europe: Kira Kirikovich, Marina Gurvich et Anita Pasztor. Sans compter les italiennes comme Alessandro Angelozzi, Thelma Espina, Luca Taiana ….

Only 2 days before the Haute Couture fashion show starts in Paris  ! But did you know that, like New-York, London, Milan and Paris, the principality also has its Fashion Week ? This year, it was the 5th Edition and we were there !

‘We’ means Virginie Broquet and I ! Virginie for the illustrations and me for the pictures … I wanted to give you a little insight into this fashion event !

It took place between the oceanographic Museum and Chapiteau de Fontvieille from June 1st to 3rd : 3 days of presentations, conferences, lifestyle events, fashion shows organized by the Chambre Monegasque de la Mode and frequented by celebrities, surrounded by fashion specialists and accompanied by the international press and bloggers. All this in a warm and elegant atmosphere in the image of the Principality ! Of course I LOVE !
Chiara Boni opened the fashion shows ! Italian excellence ! with its collection – La Petite Robe- : a jewel for the lovers of elegance. She received the Mase-Italy Fashion Award for her great contribution to the fashion world.
The big surprise was the presence at the Gala evening at the Oceanographic Museum of the international fashion icon, Naomi Campbell who was awarded the International Fashion Award.

Tatiana Santo Domingo Casiraghi and Dana Alikhani were also honored. They received the MCFW Ethical Brand Fashion Award for creating the Muzungu Sisters brand : refined outfits and accessories produced by artisans from 16 different countries on 4 continents. Embroideries, precious details, natural colors and traditionally woven knits represent a special type of manufacturing inherent to the artisans’s cultural heritage that the brand wishes to preserve and foster, while offering autochthonous populations a sustainable way of living.


The talented Italian photographer, Nima Benati, received the Emerging Talent Fashion Award, born in 1992, Nima has been working in fashion since 2010. She has discovered how to capture this world and make it her own. Dolce Gabbana has chosen her for its last advertising campaign and it promises to be the beginning of a fabulous career as a fashion photographer !
